Anyone see this re the bkts:

Flotations weren’t doing too well according to this owner. Flotations must be a different level completely as bkt tractor tires get excellent praise on this forum

So would these be a good enough purchase? Around £60 cheaper than BKTs and 7 yr warranty...

ALLIANCE AGRISTAR II TL (149D)

I put a set of agristar II on a tractor last spring. 650/85r38 and 600/70r30. 1600 hours later, they are about 40% gone.
I have a similar tractor with vredestein on in the same size. They have 4000 hours on them now, and more thread left. So even though they are 50% more, they cost less per hours to run. And much better on the road.

Michelin’s arnt trouble free either. They produced a front Tyre that wore out in less then 1000 hours recently. Rather then give you new set, they made you buy 1 and they give you 1 free.
put 3 sets of Michelin’s on my telehandler over a 10 year period , first 2 sets done 2500hrs each, last ones didn’t do 1500 hrs. Made them softer to wear out faster. All manufacturers are at this. Not in their interest to supply you tyres that last. In 1999 I bought a 2850 with new set of Firestones on it. Them Firestones done 11k hours and I sold them with 30% still on them. Don’t make them like that anymore

Michelins with standard tread on tele handlers are very poor we have found over the years. The BKT version lasted nearly twice as long on the last machine. We've now got the Bibload tyres and I am really happy with them even on field work as well which I was concerned about.
