Not saying it is. Just wondering if all their tyres are sh!t or just the big low ground pressure types that need to flex a lot. I need 580/70 38 on a four cylinder to replace some ( what I think are) sh!t trelleborgs. £2200 for them,£825 for alliance
so after 20 years since I started there if it bought , buy the cheapest on offer , he will never change was the same when he was just in charge of ixworth , had an alliance go bang near sedge fen with the 3 bed bed former on , was the last one bought down our end as long as I was there after that , they work out more expensive in the end :)
Who will never change, none of the management then are here now. The plan was to change the tyres run it for another 18 months or so before trading it in so couldn’t see the point of spending an extra 6k for a set of Michelin’s to see none of that when it’s traded in

We have a customer with Alliance 710/85r38, 1 failed the other week and the word from our supplier is there is none in stock and Alliance aren’t making anymore till there is enough orders worldwide to justify starting a run. Unfortunately there are only 2 manufacturers making this size and the other is the expensive french one.

If I understand correctly that you supplied the tyres, it could be viewed fair that you put a set of the frenchies on and fight the battle with alliance. I can see why you'd be reluctant, given the attitude of alliance in several posts, but that's why we don't/can't deal direct.

I was always told there was a 7 year warranty on tyres, whether this is the case only with certain manufacturers I am unsure, I have had major claims settled amicably on 5 year old tyres but not cheap shyte.

Premium range tractor you put cheap sh!t Tyres on it , would be worth more to sell second hand with Michelin Tyres on it , if you can not get Tyres to go on it now were the cheap Tyres a good buy now when it is parked up waiting for new Tyres, you only get what you pay for

If you need a tyre I have some 710/85/38’5. All Michelin, 95% down to 15% tread. Probably a Fendt it’s on, can sell you the tyre on a rim if you want.

I would never have alliance ever again. We had so much trouble with their 550/60 22.5 ply trailer tyres. They weren’t interested so we swapped to Nokian and had 2 sets since so alliance have missed out on 32 tyres in total.

Never had nokian. Have bkt and vredestien. Must say the vredestien trailer tyres wear real well

I’ve noticed these youtuber types rave about everything that they received a massive discount on. They rave about it before they’ve even used it. False.
They have very poor ethics. They obviously get special treatment and prices on condition they push the product, yet Tom, for one, never actually declares this in his videos. Very bad form. I’ve stopped watching his channel as a direct result of the blatant product placement.

16.9/28 alliance tyres on the rear of my 50ex were both new in 2019. Probably done around 500 hours, 65% of those will have been in and around yards and sheds so mostly on the hard/concrete. Been impressed with their performance out in the fields loading dung and shifting bales too. Would have that size again for what I’m doing.
