I have a new to me Amazone UX4200 sprayer with a Amatron 3 box with section control . Could someone tell me what settings to alter as it is turning off too late when I get to the headland and turning on too late when I turn around and go back up the field!. It has had a software upgrade. Thanks.

Possibly the receiver settings but if it’s wrong both ways probably not.

On the gps switch screen are you set to 100% overlap like in the top left corner?

Overlap is important but only when driving on an angle from/to the headland. I would have expected the OP to mention this if the issue only occurred on angle approach.

If the antenna distance from the boom is incorrect, the sprayer would turn on/off incorrectly both ways.

If the distance from the antenna to the boom is too high, the sprayer would switch on too late because the screen assumes the boom has not left the headland yet. If the distance from the antenna to the boom is too high, the screen would switch off too late because it assumes the booms have not entered the headland yet.

Might not be the antenna position configuration but the fact that it misbehaves both ways, does not prove it is not. If it was late one way and early the other way, then there would need to be something else (too). Hope I got it right, so easy to get brains confused with these details.

Yes sorry, just reread the OP and had misunderstood.
We have a mounted UF sprayer which uses the receiver on the roof of the tractor does a trailed have it’s own receiver?
There is a page in the settings to fine tune switch points.

From the amatron 3 home page press F1 to go into the sprayer, then instead of going into the sprayer menu go into user profiles, then it’s something like ‘configure part width sections’ (I think it’s in the 2nd page). The adjustment aid at the bottom of the screen makes it easy to adjust, you just need to measure the distance it is switching on/ off to early/late.
