We're not far away and I've just gone back to a Case partly because they offer good backup. Ah well hopefully I won't need it anyway.

Yes it is a pity , yet another one of the old suppliers/ engineers gone, only to be replaced by large 'main dealers ' or the other extreme.... the umpteen little wheeler dealer types starting up all the time, who largely know little of the technical side .

Martin Pears is only 2/3 miles away and probably stolen alot of their machinery trade - but no credible tractor franchise .

That's a shame .Delt with Graham &Clive buying 4 Lamborghini tractors off them very good firm .Clive a very much hands on owner mechanic.We changed brands when changed to case as more local case dealer .
When's the sale ?

Their main fitter is a chap called Stan who lives in Modbury, he's ex ABM so has been dealing with red tractors for a long time. The letter from D&S said that Stan would take on the business in some form as an independent.

Haven't R &D lost the Massey franchise? Maybe they will take on Case?

We went there to look at some cultivation kit, they had shoved in a nettle area behind a whole load of other gear, felt like they dint pot any effort in, have had a few leaflets in the post maby they have upped their game.
