Thinking of buying a used drill to sow barley and sow grass and clover mixs as I reseed as I make wholecrop silage and currently use fert spinner to do the job with a light rake to cover seed. Wondering if a drill would be better any info greatly appreciated.

If you are getting on fine now, then why change?
The only reason to drill barley would be if using dressed seed, slug/pest/bird problems or the need to apply a pre em.
It's dressed seed and one field was half eaten by pigeons one evening which was really annoying last year as the rest were brilliant quality and quantity been lucky this year sowed 3 weeks ago and no birds 🤞🤞
