Anyone ever used one of these ? Straw spreader

I’m not super convinced, I do like the price mind 4.5k and I like the versatility but if the bale fails to feed onto the prongs then it’s just going round in circles

If you want a cheap, simple spreader for round bales only, this is the kiddie you want to find, Prime X. Think there are similar types around.

It's what we use. Tho pics are from internet as not in yard at mo. Second pic it taken from TFF for sale thread (2014).
Nothing on it is a spare part. Just a couple of hydraulic motors and bearings, everything else just steel.
V v simple. We have spread 10's of thousands of bales with it. Only spreader we have ever owned.

i know what you saying im getting at the point ramdom manufactured cheap stuff can be shite and the money is better in a quality used item, who was it with the roller cola baler that died after less than 100 bales...

not a bad device tbh but i have a large lambing corral which we bed daily looking for a spreader / unroller.I really think its the prime x malgar or warthog type that will get the job done fast. if anyone knows of any for sale in the uk - excluding new warthogs as they are 7500 and little to much for me

Looking to get a straw chopper. Are these West one's any good. Want it for big square bales. For sale fairly local to me. Got a 45' and 60' cattle shed to bed and getting bored of doing it by hand, especially the 60' shed which I currently bed down every other day.

I'd leave it for sale :ROFLMAO:

I have just had a tidy second hand Teagle 808 chopper here and I'm mighty impressed with it. will do silage and straw no bother at all and has made feeding/bedding an absolute pleasure. Far superior to the King it replaced
