Talking to a friend who was raving about it. Generally reluctant myself to go down that route as you are letting the seed companies have more power and RR crops in USA haven’t exactly been a big success. However said mate was raving about it, one spray has done all BLW, grass weeds and volunteer beet. Sounds ideal. Seed is obviously expensive but allegedly over half of the beet in continental Europe is convisio smart? If true it’s bound to get cheaper and if phedmedipham goes the way of desmed we might be forced down that road. Anyone on here growing it?

No, but I’m seriously considering it especially with a cranesbill problem. Anything for an easier life. Jobs hard enough without sprays that need to go on in perfect conditions to stand half a chance of doing the job.

A nieghbour has got some this year and ill be very intersted to see how he gets on with them and after the struggle with weed control I've had this year they do sound appealing but im like you @flat10 I resent having to use a "package". Also I worry about being able to control any volunteers or crowns that grow in the following cereal crop, assume SU wont work.
