Gearbox all tested today just need to try it on the Mway which I mite do tomorrow but yeah all seems ok

Tested gearbox on the Mway today and it ran great BUT I think I now need an o/d ( overdrive ) as it is now it's great on normal roads low enough not needing to use 1st but it screems around 70 so think an o/d will sort that out just need to find a cheap one

Gave the 2a a service today inc replacing the gearbox and trannybox oils and replaced the leaking engine oil breather ( 200tdi )

Always nice to see stuff moving forwards and being done by the owner themselves

I see a lot of customers' projects mostly for Yank stuff... LS Swaps ... Hemi Swaps... Full restorations etc etc I buzz off it.

They have all taken a fair whack and I have a gasket on the shelf so will have a look .

Why would push rods and rocker arms and the pedestal mount bolts on a td5 get wrecked but the cam belt hadn’t broken?

Up and running again , went for the quick fix . Push rods out of a scrap 200 tdi , reset the valve clearance and of it went . Was going to pull the head off but to busy spraying .
