Lets be fair when the series 2a and 3s came out there wasn't much else about as an alternative. I actually thought they were alright at the time.

The 2 was world class. The series 3 came out after the Range Rover so was nothing but a styling exercise and a missed opportunity

Welcome along @CornishRattler! Ignore the nay sayers and Land Rover Haters. They’re two a penny on here and tend to get a little repetitive!

Anyway, here’s mine...

All original (apart from the wheels). 2.25 petrol (5MB) and Fairy overdrive. Happily whistles along at 65-70 all day long! There’s a few bits and pieces I’d like to do to it but plan on keeping it as original as possible. It’s just a very long way away from me at the moment so it’s good to see someone having a go and enjoying theirs. That what they’re for!

Cheer's mate yeah i plan to have the original look but with a few mods like, a 200tdi engine, disc brakes all round and ive also fitted Defender diffs and plan to get the tranny box uprated aswell

Wow I've eventually got round to ordering my new 300tdi turbo and EGR valve blanking plate kit ( Disco 200tdi engine with a 300tdi exhaust manifold fitted )

Best news is it will no longer need an MOT come May 20th as it is pre 78 .
