Kubota should be an easy one to find owner for teh local fuzz. Even they can look on the dvla ownership records....

The plate on the trailer is a white L200 so they should be able to trace it very easily.

I suggested they put a tracker on the Kubota and leave them there but said the law doesn't allow them to do it
They also said that whoever puf them there will have hidden a small 'birdwatch)' camera somewhere to see if anyone turns up !

neighbour lost their load all last week, they had a tracker on it, so went and pinched it back, from a yard full of similar yellow machines.
Don't think the yard owners were involved, but machine hidden in clear sight, who would look there ?

All the locals around here know who is doing it , so do the Police but the CPS let them down every time .

It is most unlikely to be the police who are failing. As you say, they don't get the backup they need.
The criminals behind this could soon be behind bars if there was the political will.
