Youngest son was a good judge of tractors when he was small

1 step was for gardens

2 steps for feeding the cows

3 steps would cart corn from the combine

4 steps was big enough to do the ploughing

More than 4 steps had tracks so they wouldn't get punctures

Story is MF paints tractors red so the kids can find them in the garden easily………

can’t speak for others but our experience of the brand has been good over the last 10 years. Maybe just the model as i think the 724 is the jewel in their crown really

not expensive tractors to own vs any other brand we have run in the past (JD, NH, Case, Claas, JCB and Mcormick over the years). and more reliable than any of those despite running to much higher hours

Aww get it away from the belts. Our tractor gets covered doin that job if the wind is goin the wrong way
The old 6310 wouldn’t start apparently, someone left the ignition on…

Anyway, I think the new Case cab interior looks smart on the Optum, shame it’s not available on the Puma or the Maxxum yet.

Lets be honest, manufacturers have given up on improving the mechanicals for each model upgrade, they just tweak the cab internals a bit and add 10% to the price.

Fendt still don't sell huge numbers in the UK compared to some other brands. I think they get a good reputation because they are aimed at owner drivers or one man one machine units. They're not used as fleet units for multiple jobs and lots of different drivers like JD and NH, so don't suffer the abuse. They tend to stay out of hire fleets too, which might also be a reason for lower sales numbers but it helps the brand because there aren't as many 750 hour flogged to death ex hires out there about to explode.
Everyone says they are similar money or cheaper than Deere's, so why don't they out sell them?

I traded a 17 plate t6.175 autocommand with 2000 hours
For a well looked after 12 plate 718 with 7000 hours. Was basically a straight swap and haven’t regretted it once.
The fendt is no adblue and has gone up in value rather than down…
Think once they redesigned from the old shape and probably agco had a say in components/ design they lost what made them special….

Think its changing round here.seem to be more an more big units getting fleets of fendts.an 1 contractor definetly hires his tractors from a dealer down south. Maybe that's why they are getting more problems as they are not owner drivers.

I like mine.only bought it as I wanted a vario with a loader.it really good in the field.my valtra leaves it for dead on road work though.
