I'm glad at the moment I have a decent chunk of cash, my worry is if things really go belly up then the banks fold and the gov cant pay out on the bank guarantee, got one payment on a tractor due in dec, going to pay that off tomorrow.

We are uncharted waters now, regardless of how low interest rates go if you cannot access capital you are screwed, I don't see how governments can just print and print.................if they do we are really screwed. This is not China with its' ability to just adjust value of currency overnight. Trying to mess with a capitalist system on the fly could doom us all, and that's whats' happening right now.

I really hate to say this but would it be better if the gov had less input in the system, let it find its' own level..............thoughts'

I must admit, i was reflecting this week that possibly it was a good thing to e sitting on no cash at all. All assetbeing property, kit and animals etc.

Cash is valuable when buying bluechip shares, at a 1/3 of the price when at a healthy pe ratio. Inflation is not a factor in this.

Dont buy over inflated bread buy shares in critical companies.
