Astra Zenica vaccine.

I have always been in favour of the vaccines & on balance still am & glad I had two Astra Zenica & a Moderna booster,
But;
After the first jab which resulted in temporary flu symptoms & a temporary soreness in my left arm for a few days then nothing, about 6 months later I noticed what I consider strained muscle pain in my left arm just below the shoulder which I put down to my age & job, then 6 months later the same muscle pain in my right arm which had the second jab, now I wake up at night with bloody agony in both arms muscles which disappears with a bit of waving of my arms.
I don't get much trouble during the day when the muscles are constantly being used & I put the pain down to long periods without moving the arm muscles, funny enough I mentioned this to a mate here fencing today & he has had the same problems, I'm interested to know if this is just a coincidence or if other people have had the same thing?

I've had the muscle pain since my booster, put it down to moving lots of small bales and getting old, perhaps not then

Unless it came on more or less straight away it's probably just psychosomatic due to everyone talking about various symptoms and theories atm. If you do remember pain at the time of injection it could be due to nerve damage. Mrs Muck got poorly jagged with her first injection which paralysed her arm within 15 mins and has still got slightly restricted movement in it 9 months later. If you feel it's getting worse speak to your GP.

My mum had the same shoulder issues after Astra.

my elbows were knackered for 4 months after the first two Pfeizer.

on balance probably still good, and maybe Covid would have given the same issues if I had got it pre Vaccination. It does niggle at the back of your mind though - if it did this, what else has it done to me.

Unfortunately it's not psychosomatic if only, now nearly 10 months after the first jab it seems that at the sight of both AZ jabs when the arm muscles are not in use for a long period (sleep) muscle pain occurs, I might be just unlucky but just wondered if anybody else had this occur with AZ vaccines?

You aren't alone in having no issues to report. I had Pfizer x2 and then moderna. I felt nothing after my first jab, was rough for a day on the second and nothing to report for the third.
