What were ewes like ?Exeter smashed the £2/ kilo average today for fat cattle for the first time in living memory!
NSL lambs also +0.4pk to level at 1.87 ish.
Sedge lacklustre trade for both cattle and sheep with prime cattle down on the week and NSL lambs down about 8pk on the week to level at £1.80 ish.
You need a good set of scales, and know they are working correctly before selling any to them! Probably only 42kg liveweight max. They are the worst robbers buying out of live markets that i have seen aswell.I thought that Dunbia paid up to 22kgs but an overweight 22.5kgs and 23kgs (they round down to nearest 1/2 kg) would be reduced to 21kg with anything over 23.5 going back to 20kgs at base price.
