All I can say is that we have been somewhat inundated over last 12-18 mths, over the same period Insurer response times and what they will and wont quote on has got worse, so at certain times have had to make choices on what we are able to quote on,in that situation we will tend to have to favour doing quotes on business within a 75 mile radius of our offices. We are doing a lot of work to try and improve this but suffice to say Insurer service is not currently improving.It is always a touch disconcerting when you get one ringing endorsement for a firm, and then posts from a couple of contributors not noted for being idiots, saying "Didn't respond/couldn't be bothered", etc.
