Best low disturbance subsoiler?

I have one and I'm annoyed at how easy it is to bend legs , it's hard to do a days work with out bending some part of the tip or leg. And it wasn't in rocky ground . Also in that video you have no shin guards on the legs , helps it do a clean job , but it will wear the legs through in two days.
AFAIK the legs are Hardox. Can't see how you bend them that easily. We have not bent one yet and we are on rocky ground.

The part that the point fits on to is not Hardox , we tested them with the drill and they drilled easy , they are now using a new design of a stronger leg afaik.

Yes. got a set here but havent had chance to scrutinise them - dont think they are massively different but I dont think generic points will now fit?
How do u bend it james if it's hydraulic ? I bought one last summer done about 100+ acres on legs without covers as they wanted me to try out [ new model of legs which have easier changed wear plates not needing covers ]done about 25 acres on these ,ground variable but no bending etc well pleased with results this spring ,except for lifting stones

I'd say it's the round stones underground , they are getting bent sideways and an odd one bent down.

I sent our sumo subsoiler legs off to Metcalfe's last wednesday to have their low disturbance NG legs and feet welded on. They look a good system with interchangeable shins for different working depths. Gone for 10" wing ie 5" either side on leg spacings of 650mm. Would perhaps get away with 8" total wing then Bob lincs?

Plowman Omni til well worth a demo, or Metcalfe feet on your Simba legs. We get on well with our shakerator, very cheap to run too
Have got you Metcalfe's on your shakerator? We have a shakerator and your right cheap to run but mix the soil too much for my liking now.

Have you looked at Tillso sabre tine will weld on to your leg or able to make complete leg for your subsoiler. Have run ours with these 5 years no problem. Big difference to snapping the simba point off and their costly replacement.

I did look at Tillso, also a very well designed leg and liked the 4m Advantage but affordability was the downside (never say never) with a subsoiler available to convert and their new feet were also more expensive. Metcalfe will weld them on as part of the deal also.

The Quivogne legs were designed by @Tim Howard . We have one of his Soilmaster subsoilers. He will make legs any length or width to suit the job you’re doing. Highly recommended.
I have a full range of standard and low disturbance feet with wide or narrow wings.
All feet are one piece with tungsten tips and hard facing for even wear, the main leg socket is above ground level so they don't wear. Conversion legs for most machines are available.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
