After a few different brands I have Had 2 sets of bf good rich on my 90. Km2 mud terrain. First set did 47000 miles, second set has done 39000 so far maybe another 4-5k left don’t think they will just do 47.

One puncture in that time.

Another +1 for the Michelin latitude Cross if its mainly road work.
Had bfgs for years, and they'll last well, and not embarrass you off road but the Michelins are far better on the road, whilst being perfectly adequate for the odd bit of off road.

Grabbers... BFGs do the miles but I find they go hard and make a woody noise with age.

Had Insa aswell on a Trooper . Traction Tracks with mud bias. Cracking Tyres but gave a belting hum at speed.

Have a serious think about fuel economy and these aggressive tyres. I recall 5mpg difference between (I think) Scorpions and Grabber AT2 in real life (my tests). Over 20k/y, that’s a lot of pennies.

Anyone know if it's OK to have 'normal' tyres and off road tyres on same vehicle? Just bought a used truck with off roads on, no issues with that but the rear will need changing long before the front, so wondered if a gradual change back to 'normal' was possible or if they all have to be done at once.

unless it’s permanent four wheel drive, put the off-road ones on the rear and road on front. You can’t drive in 4x4 on road anyway in a selectable 2/4 wd pickup ( l200 excluded )
