 ..2 and half times the cost at least ....... is it that much better ?
greasing trimmer rotor bearings takes about 1 cartridge ........i usually push a bit more in at lunchtime as well could get a bit pricey.
it depends where you buy it.
36 of them would cost me about £120, for that price i personally think its worth it.
on the other hand there are plenty of folk who say oil is oil and thats their choice, i like it as a grease having tried a few.

Good news regards Lube-shuttle carts.
Have sourced Lithium complex grease cartridges at £1.52 each, branded Total, from fuel supplier to buying group.
Don't know why I didn't discover this sooner.:banghead:

Sounds like a top quality grease, get what you pay for i guess.
well of course the best thing is to have some of different types, then use accordingly , don't want to make greasing up to complicated tho .....to discourage anyone less than enthusiastic about the job

got ordinary brown grease ......and the red stuff (which does seem 'stickier' and if it gets on yer hands ..is harder to get off ..if that's anything to go by. ie exposed pins in bushes ..... i'm not so worried about temp. ive got the idea that ordinary lith.complex will deal with most of mine (rotor bearings etc.)

How do you know they are not the same....but with a different dye in?

Not being awkward, but have seen so many people differentiate things by colour saying "red is better than blue" etc. when actually the only difference in those cases was the colour.

but the spec. says its better, i think, ..wouldnt just buy it on colour.

This is what I use, not a full lip on the tube but many tabs. I think it's good grease and not to dear.
Alemite grease guns here no problem with air locks and a good coupler.
