No , plus . But it is £10 k .Is that Inc vat?
On the same side of the pond as yourselfNo , plus . But it is £10 k .
Assume thats plus too?Krone tc760 was around £15750 when I enquired recently. I'd imagine class 2700 to be around the same.
Would you put the 680 ahead of the 2600? It has 2 less tine arms per rotor I tinkI bet there isn't much in it, once you go up from a 2600 to a 2700 you get a heavier built machine with hydraulic width adjustment and independent rotor lift. All prices are plus vat, krone 680 which is equilvent of class 2600 is around 11k.
Bit late to the topic but what sort of width, pto speeds and forward speed do you run at with the 2900 in front of a baler? We're using the same but just can't get the perfect rowSome days I would rather send our claas 2900 out raking for round baler for nothing if its likely to be raked with single rotor. Just less hassle, better bales and more baler output. For good shape dense consistent bales you need a good swath. Simple as that.

Depends upon the crop, how dry and how heavyBit late to the topic but what sort of width, pto speeds and forward speed do you run at with the 2900 in front of a baler? We're using the same but just can't get the perfect row
400rpm at 8.2m and 6-7kmh made a perfect row in hay. Haven't had any silage today, thinking similar width with more forward speed and some more rpm to fill the middle of the row.Depends upon the crop, how dry and how heavy
Hay rotor 400rpm 4mph
Wet short grass rotor near 500rpm and fly along at 8mph. Try that in long grass though, and you make a rope that will hold the QE2 (!)
