Bettinson cassette gearboxes

Hi everyone,

I've got a bettinson DD drill that I'm seeking some spares for, in particular I'm after the gearbox cassettes .
I'm aware that bettinson-hestair-melroe have been finished up for a long time. Parts are becoming hard to source here in Australia, there are still a few guys using these seeders in area. Any information or feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The problem we all had in the uk was new seed dressings that the rubber feed rollers weren't tolerant to and they 'melted'. They were a popular drill at one stage.

There’s a guy in Australia that has a mold for the seed and fertiliser rollers, they are different material and different design to the original foam rollers but we have had them installed for a number of years and are holding up really well.

I’ve got a full set of cassettes and about 2 sets of rollers in reasonable condition and quite a few other spares

Hello @Btass88 - are you able to provide details of the person who makes the rollers please? I've been offered an old Bettinson and am interested but need to be sure I can get parts before I bother with it. Many thanks,
NP.
