It’s actually a very clever way of trading. They will get more than dealer will offer for trade in. It’s cash in the bank until they need to buy new again. So all winter cash is sat in bank not in depreciating machines

Maybe, but it is likely there will be a price hike over the winter on machines?

Yes but you can’t sell a machine on finance unless you actually own it so they will own all those. If price goes up, they have cash

well there was a farm sale a few years ago that sold all the old things first to get some cash , then as each lot was sold by the auctioneer they paid the finance company and sold it & worked there way throw the list

They don't come out this side of Ely as far as me, unless it's for the odd bit of maize ground.

You should try expanding a small arable farm with AL Lee and Gs on all sides of you though, it's not a walk in the park.

As long as she stays silent, I remember her performance when locals weren't happy about being disturbed by trailers 20 hours a day.
