Have we any idea what sort of percentage has been paid? Had the email of doom in December but claim unchanged from last year, so can’t understand the delay.

Ours hasn’t changed in 15yrs and this is the first year they have managed to pay in Dec. During the first four years of bps I had no idea why they couldn’t pay on time as nothing had changed

Anybody else still waiting?
@cattleman123 ?

Just rang, and despite mine having been shown as preparing for payment since end of Nov, it's with the "finance team" undergoing "final checks".
I thought having passed the "final checking" stage on the website that would mean final checks have been done. But no, once it goes to "preparing for payment" the finance team do their "final checks".

So shouldn't I have received an email to say I won't be paid in December?
"No, not necessarily"

The system is a joke.
Mine is exactly the same as yours...preparing for payment now for over 3 weeks....but no money and as you know I received the email of doom as well....tis a complete joke

Very hard to believe....but its impossible to prove otherwise...and also to prove them theRPA wrong

I suspect the SOS will give the latest figures at OFC tomorrow but I’ll be surprised if it’s much less than 95% by fund volume and by claimant pool.
I’m never minded to doubt the veracity of the figures as they have people like NAO and PAC looking at them.
But I understand the frustration of anyone not paid. When the vast majority have been paid it just makes it feel even more unfair for those waiting. I’ve been in that position myself. We will be calling for bridging payments for anyone not paid by the end of January.

Notwithstanding that, Guy Smith, the RPA seems to have paid out in December this time even where they knew that their numbers were clearly badly wrong and even if already subject to challenge.

Previously, payment in such cases would have been held back.

Don't know whether to blame the NFU for this improvement or not.

For those of us lucky enough to have been paid something, does anybody here know when the promised claims statements are due to turn up?

These are an essential annual ingredient of all the various bits of paperwork needed to support our forthcoming 2019 Claims Query.

Funnily enough, we wouldn't have any queries here for 2019 had only the RPA managed to resolve our queries for 2017 and 2018 sometime in advance of their 2019 payment window.

Unfortunately, and not for the first time, they actually managed to miss their own deadline.

Still stuck at claim validation here, and having spoken to the RPA there is no reason for it! What concerns me now is that having paid a headline of over 90% of claims, they can sit back and say that they have kept the moaning gits quiet, and now have until June to sort the rest out, so feet up lads and back to downloading porn until May........

And sorry, forgive me poor mental arithmetic but if they can sort 90% of claims between May and December which is 7 months, surely it is possible to sort 10% in 2 months?
