Surely China have always been able to buy physical stocks of grains directly from countries like Brazil and make payments in any form that both parties agree upon, be that in currency or in other goods? The exchanges are just trades of IOU's rather than physical goods.

Glad you've found Kevin's channel.
I've been watching him too lately.
An economic winter is coming for us here that most people will blindly stumble into.

Ore and grain and to a lesser extent coal.
It's already happening with dairy.
Short sightedness of selling heifers to China has seen NZ trade drop significantly which means it goes somewhere else....... There's a reason Fonterra are divesting themselves of everything they own in Aus. NO farmers, NO brands..... What does that tell you???

It tells me once done, they will flood the Aus market and destroy everyone here in the process.

And the brick block will do the same .
I'd hate to be a grain farmer in the US, Canada and Australia in the coming years.

Basically the West was controlling all the data and getting a small percentage of money doing the transaction. And now some countries have joined together and are learning to live without the West. Unfortunately it was only a matter of time but that time is starting now!

Armageddon!!!

Personally i dont get ti wrapped up in that, heres a 1000 channels saying the stoc market is going to crash amd gold will boom.

If you predict it will rain every day, some days you will be right, the sp500 has grown.

There will be consequences for handing everything over to china in manufacturing. Also our trade relies on chinese consumption, and they rely on ours...so they can try screw the west of they want but they will only destroy themsleves, its a fine line...and they know this, push comes to shove the west has alot of the minerals and if need be can stop the flow and manufacture themsleves just as cheap as china with automation...it just needs mega capital to do so...and the usa can print money...

Australia has the coking coal and the iron, and a tonne of natural gas, and a large desert to put steel factories in, road trains to haul out products.

With 1.3 billion people china needs manufacturing, and it needs buyers to those products...otherwise they screwed.

As for fonterra, its not like dairy companies are renowned for making smart financial decisions, especially long distance decisions....so id take anything they do with a grain of salt.

Ant...
