Can a bad tooth cause flu symptoms to vice versa.

Bad teeth can poison the system. There was an article in the paper today about problems in the armed services from lack of dentist care . Time to get dental care.
I'm booked for the 20 th March.

Problem is last year the tooth opposite was pulled & snapped leaving part of the roots in. I've been eating at one side since, now pain at both sides.

I was unable to go have the broken tooth removed & replaced with an implant because Autumn/winter are my busy time, then Jan/Feb less farm work but busy getting my late Mothers Farm house ready to rent. Loved her but gosh she left some work tidying up. Always to dead lines.

An upper tooth will have roots more or less to your sinus. Pulling one can make smoking a cigarette interesting.

i suspect you've got an infection going on and would seek an emergency appointment if it were me.

I put a visit to the dentist off for over a year, a week after getting married I was in heck of a state. Worst pain I’ve ever had, couldn’t string a sentence together let alone anything else. Made me feel rough as a badgers behind until finally managed to find a private dentist who could take it out without remortgaging the house.

simple answer is if it’s bad enough then absolutely, There was talk of blood poisoning and all sorts when I got it seen to. Never ceases to amaze me how dumb I can be when it comes to Dentists, Doctors or Money. That was a case I couldn’t bury my head in the sand any longer

Teeth in the upper jaw are meshed into the bone called the maxilla. Above that, and not very far away above it neither, is the maxillary sinus- an airspace that connects into a lot of other airspaces that all open into your nasal cavity. This also means the eyes, ears, nose and throat are all loosely interlinked. Toothache can also give you a headache by causing inflammation of the sinuses in your face and giving the nerves some stick in that region.

Infection in teeth can do all sorts, I've seen some horrific peri-orbital infections that were likely due to teeth problems. Get some raging infected mediastinal abscesses from bad teeth, too, and infective endocarditis (bugs populating on fibrin build up of your heart valves) which isn't a great day out, either- your teeth/gums are a mainline route into your blood. Oh, and technically, you aren't supposed to blow your nose- the rise in pressure can force snot into the other sinuses setting them up for the same infection.

I won't put any graphic pictures of raging infections on, promise.

Full blown flu today, but not affected with the normal blocked nose or sore throat.

Apart from feeding sheep going to have the day in bed.

Shall ring the Doctor tomorrow to ask for antibiotics to protect the optic nerve, if she refuses will ring the Dentist.

Not sure the Dentist will want me in the chair with flu, but when I had the last one removed I was put on antibiotics first.

Will get to A & E if any rashes start to appear. I know my body & this is not normal.

Its very sudden really, not even thinking about teeth until last Tuesday or Wednesday & now worried I'm going to go blind in one eye.

I picked a thing up weeks ago stared with a bad head any existing pains exaggerated then coughing pneumonia type of thing set in. Had it for near on a month now not had any time off work but wouldn’t recommend that. The lads got it and had best part of a week in bed. Think working in this weather just extends recovery time with this thing

Exaggerated existing pain is a perfect description.

I've not been ill for 8 years or so, but gosh this last two to three weeks never met so many ill people. Usually coughing & sore throats though but complaining about aches & head aches.

This thing has had a constant headache it was one of the worst symptoms it’s just disappeared today it came with a headache and it’s going with one.
You will probably have underlying pains here and there like I have which go un noticed until there’s a bug appears

Finished for the day thankfully, feeding round should be easy, but drained me today.

A jacket potato in the oven for 6.45, some walnuts & grapes then a warm bath & bed.

Eyes feel a little better & they are my main worry.

Its set me thinking about coronavirus four years ago, at the time we had a small farmshop just potatoes, fruit veg & eggs that was decling but trade went into over drive.

Sadly our long term part time staff were too old. The first to go was 58 & on steroids, the next 75 with a bad chest so just my part time assistant a bus driver, My Mum 77 at the time & myself.

The afternoon before Boris made his Lockdown speech, My helper took my Mum to the supermarket to get a few essentials & she could find what she needed. Then Paul within 5 minutes was dripping in sweat & could not breathe (three bus drivers from his depo died) so he went home not to be seen again for 16 weeks.

Mum totally fine even at 77 wanting to keep going saying she would man the shop, with help from me when I could. I closed the shop, I'd visions of my Mum dieing a painful lonely death & me in bed unable to work with crops unplanted & sheep uncared for.

Everything was fine the worst Mum had was the snuffles for the day & I was a bit feverish one night. We lost Mum last year but suddenly not choking to death in hospital, in a way she had three bonus years.

So hopefully I will be back to normal in a week.

I borrowed some antibiotics to keep me going, I sort of got ahead of it before it floored me. I’ve had pneumonia in the past I know what it feels like. When I had it last time I decided in my wisdom to lead some dusty hay from a farm a few miles away then dip some sheep which resulted in me being laid up in bed.
I think you might need some

I had a upper molar that was starting to act up a few weeks ago, but with no visible signs of decay, got worse for a few days then eased off and has now disappeared. I wondered if it was caused by a transient virus that might have inflamed the root/nerves. I sometimes get a funny pain up the side of my head, like my hair hurts if that makes sense 😂, always passes tho, I put it down to a virus, like a very mild shingles flare up.

I have Shingles now, when in the bath it set off the itching. Had it three times before, spots not that bad yet.

Seem to be falling apart, just got up for a drink, sweating like crazy in bed.
