Is shaft grooved or worn?
Tighter seals

Where the shaft enters the hub?
Where the outer seal sits around the hub body?
Did you replace both?
Im 90% sure its right...ill have to take a part again and let you know thanksDid you put the seal in the right way round? Made the mistake myself once
Normally a bit of bale net gets wrapped around and wrecks the oil seal at the back and the back bearingits not to bad.. thats it there below

I used the old seal to gently tap it in with a hammer
The wrong seal was obviously put in by the previous owner..I got the correct cassette seal as shown in picture..then it was loose so I got another of the previous one...could you send me where I would find the inner wear ring?Get the correct seal and do the job properly, 5mm difference is usually caused by the inner wear ring part of the old seal being left on the hub.
