Charolais AI bull

Looking for an easy calving but good growing AI bull for holstein cows. Currently using BB which are good. Would just like a change to Charolais. Just looking for suggestions. Cheers
I would say use Angus, but if you want a easy calved Charley try Ireland Genetics, they have a bull called Cavelands Fenian. Very easy to calf or fiston.

Currently espresso from genus he’s not been as easy calving as duster as the calves are bigger.

Have you had any Oakchurch Darcy calves? Got some beef heifers due to him and Espresso.

Used Ploughman and Protégé last year, found the Ploughman calves smaller at birth with more leg length than the Protégé ones but they evened off by 3 months. All easy, unassisted calvings though.

I used duster for about 2 years, previously BB now I’m about 6 months into Expresso that’s the sum total of my angus experience. The cows have definitely benefited.

Closed herd here and considering breeding a beef sweeper to go on my crossbred montbeliarde/fleckvieh/holstein heifers. Thinking of picking a handful of the squarest dams.

Thinking there's not much point in using Angus, as I doubt they'd qualify for the premium from a halfcast. Hereford - better off sticking to fleckvieh. Limmy = inconsistent calving ease. Would you ever consider running a half blue? Couldn't be that poor on the feet? Should be decent shaped and reliable calving ease. Colour could be an issue though?

Better of implanting some embryos. You should get 50% plus conception rate and could probably pick up some decent genetics for not much money.

If you're talking about the AA premium schemes at slaughter, any AA-sired beast (named sire on passport) would qualify. The heifers out your cows might make a decent suckler cow as well?
