Cheapest OSR seed

What’s the cheapest conventional none hybrid osr seed out there at the minute and what seed treatments are used as I’m a bit out the loop osr wise.

I got quoted £160 for a 4ha pack of elgar the other day and £210 for a 4ha pack of campas this morning.

I want to ask if hybrid varieties are worth the extra money?

I was about today Elgar is a good start……not a bad one I don’t think. Not on top anymore but has done us well this time and huge seed size!

I look for a high TGW conventional, most seed sold by seed numbers rather than weight. Bigger seed, more umph!

Please count out the seeds in a bag, if there’s only 3,850,000 in a bag you might get it free if you threaten them with trading standards…
