Has anyone gone from a lexion to a Trion salesman tells me it's the same as a 750 lexion but when I asked an engineer he didn't have the same opinion.
Obviously the newer model 7500 is the replacement of a 750 but with more output but just wondering what a Trion is like.

I went to a combine open evening at the local dealership the other night. A lot depends on how the Trion is spec’d but yes it is basically the old Lexion. The newer 7000 Lexion has bigger drums etc.

That's basically what salesman was saying. Just intrigued as to what a trion is . Do they still make a Tucano ?

Trion not single rotor?
Depends on model, Trion now covers the tucano range as well so single and twin rota options.

My son did a lot of demonstrations with the Trion when it was new apparently it’s all down to the specs and models so you can have a Trion that’s like a Lexion or a Trion that’s like the Tucson was.

We've been running a Tucano 480 (single rotor) for 5 years, and it's a very good compact design that will cut 40t/h spot rate in ripe dry wheat (normally closer to 32-35t in our conditions). The cleaning and separation is excellent, a far better sample than the previous NH TX66. The later Tucano replacement model was the 570, with the improved header extension design, turret style auger with faster unloading (110L/s v 80) and higher capacity returns system.

The Trion replacement is the 730 single rotor, and when I looked over the two at Agritechnica, one complete, one sectioned (below), there wasn't that much different to the later Tucano 570, it looked very similar, except for some styling and the 'aspirational' price tag.
If you do buy one, give me a shout before you trade it in 😉
