I’ve sold stuff on the classifieds with no issues and when I’ve required help a quick phone call gets things sorted very quickly and I’ve found people on the end of the phone very helpful.with regards to passwords etc, everytime I do new ones and user names I allways store them in the notes section on my ipad

I’m afraid it’s not very good. Lots of stuff listed that’s already sold and the search platform is poor. I know it’s free but ……

maybe you build a better one and let people use it or free then ?

ive bought and sold a number on machines on it as i know many others have, it is the highest traffic uk farm classifieds site and its free to use ……… so not all bad hey !

over priced kit rarely sells anywhere easily , sellers should remove kit that is sold themselves, how are we supposed to know when something sells - maybe we phone all vendors everyday to check ?

take the 350 limit off
so much easier to put stuff on that page
got quite a bit of stuff that can go but too much faff to put on other section
The reason the £350 limit was imposed was so that anything over that goes on the main Classifieds page, it takes seconds to create a listing, still ends up on TFF, there’s no plans for it to change in the near future, longer term possibly.

I would not think it has more Traffic than Facebook Marketplace , but on anther note why does it sometimes take Mr Checker 2 days to load an add ? Facebook is also free to most who use it , no price limit either , no I have no plans to build my own either .Lol

Maybe you could put a time limit on items , therefore if sold will not be relisted

Occasionally I miss one and sometimes I’m busy doing other things, if you are set as approved a listing shouldn’t need authorising, unless you are paying for it to be a sponsored post. I endeavour to share the more interesting bits across social media as they get the most views. The problem with Facebook is its very broad and the search function is appalling for specific items.

Set the advert to delete after the listing period in the software.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
