Just picked this up from the @CRM AgriCommodities newsletter.
- Just after European markets closed, CBOT wheat jumped as much as 2.8%, snapping a 5-day losing streak, on a Russian news stating that the country's Ag safety watchdog could temporarily suspend up to 30 loading points in southern Russia for up to 90 days [Source: Reuters]. The market has been talking about / hoping for wheat export restrictions on Russian wheat for some time, it could become reality.
Didn't exactly set the Heather on fire.
Moving in right direction though.
