Hi all we are currently on with buying a John Deere 6155R ultimate edition, with autopwr and was wondering if anyone has any experience with the command pro and if it is worth the 3.5k price tag we are a dairy and arable farm thanks.

Had a demo in the summer always had auto power with the stick, and when I order my next one it’ll be with the stick, hated the command pro....It was a 6155r that we had on demo lovely tractor, get one on demo!
We have had a 175r autoquad out and a 155r autopwr with the stick was nothing wrong with it but I wanted to try the command pro after hearing some good reviews about it but still yet to try it.

Round here it seems to be if you like the original autopower you don't like the command pro but if you're used to other vario transmissions or are coming from a standard gearbox you'll like it. Nothing wrong with the original setup you can work everything you need to with one hand and I find a lot easier to use as it's simpler for multiple users

This is our first autopwr and it is mainly my tractor but my uncle will use it for drilling baling and spraying ideally I wanted the command pro but I think it has been taken off the spec sheet now to make it that bit cheaper which considering will probably keep the tractor 10 year seems pointless to me.

Demo it for yourselves I personally can't stand it but someone else will love it

I’ve not even seen a command pro yet but imo there is nothing wrong with the original setup so won’t be changing anytime soon unless it doesn’t become a option,I always find it funny that whenever I take over from someone driving a fendt on hauling silage or maize they all have the trailers plumbed in to operate on the small crossgate lever instead of the main joystick yet they rave about having everything on the joystick

Wisey I have a 2019 145 and 155 ultimate autopwr with command pro. It’s way ahead of the single lever. Cost 2500 euros per tractor extra so I’d work on that but don’t do without it. I’d spec second screen for GPS if I were doing it again. Leather interior makes it a pleasent place to work.

The 6250 I demo’d had it, thought it was ok but had too many buttons, 13 from memory?, much prefer the Fendt set up, not sure I’d pay extra for it tbh

I was told the joystick itself is only hundreds Rather than thousands, it’s when you go to ultimate to get the joystick all the other stuff that comes standard on Ultimate, but is an option on premium! Fancy mirrors premium light package fridge so on and so on!

Well it has took 3.5k of the price of the tractor just by removing the command pro so I'm not sure tbh.

Is it still a Ultimate they are quoting now? Or maybe a way of dropping the price to a un inflated level without raising suspicion of having one's leg lifted.
