Probably old news now Fred, but I can confirm it would be worth your while taking them to Frome based on this week’s trade. Cull boars £130+ and sows nearer to £200I just checked the Frome report and they are doing better than I remembered from last time I looked, so it might be worth a trailer load after all.
Traditional breeds or just commercial types?Probably old news now Fred, but I can confirm it would be worth your while taking them to Frome based on this week’s trade. Cull boars £130+ and sows nearer to £200
I still haven't taken them yet, I was rudely interrupted by a movement inspection. Frome do pigs every other week so I'll get ''em booked.Probably old news now Fred, but I can confirm it would be worth your while taking them to Frome based on this week’s trade. Mostly commercial. There was a large saddleback that I think made £180ish.Traditional breeds or just commercial types?
We once had an ex-stud Pietrain boar that killed out at almost 400kgCheales still operating (but from C and K) last week.
Unbelievable price especially for the boars (OK they were single-decker bus size)

I'd post a picture of it, but "Goilath" as we cleverly named him has Ryan, a regular sized human being next to him for scale and I've not asked Ryan if I can put him on the Internet.
Goilaths head was almost level with his sternum if he had it in a level position.
I've done my best - might take them down. You could make his face fuzzy so we can pretend Ryan is a SF operative?
[I just want to see Hogzilla...]
You should have seen the collection dummy wobble when he mounted it (Goliath, naturally not Ryan).Holy smoke.
