I just checked the Frome report and they are doing better than I remembered from last time I looked, so it might be worth a trailer load after all.

I still haven't taken them yet, I was rudely interrupted by a movement inspection. Frome do pigs every other week so I'll get ''em booked.

Mostly commercial. There was a large saddleback that I think made £180ish.

Well I made it to Frome this week and the old culls made around £150 each so it was worth the trip. While I was there, the police did the Datatagging on the trailer as a bonus. My elderly brother-in-law came with me and thoroughly enjoyed the morning out as well especially the bacon sandwich.

We once had an ex-stud Pietrain boar that killed out at almost 400kg

I'd post a picture of it, but "Goilath" as we cleverly named him has Ryan, a regular sized human being next to him for scale and I've not asked Ryan if I can put him on the Internet.
Goilaths head was almost level with his sternum if he had it in a level position.

He was a big lad!
