Hi, I'm new to this site and my first post.
Could anyone tell me the model of this David Brown tractor please.
Decals say that it's 2012 but this is wrong
I'd like to know hp and is there any faults I should look out for, thanks John.View attachment 663500

I would say that's a 1290 or a 1390, but not a 1490.. Look for the serial number plate. Could be on the toolbox as I recall..

Not sure whether the 1390 had wet brakes. The 1394 did, plus a turbo. That is the one I would have if it was a choice of DB four cylinder models, lord forbid.
My mate has a commerative edition 1394,2wd ,loader and the less than useful, well for yard work, hydrashift gearbox.Oh almost forgot,it runs on the famous Alan Rogers "fatties".

Best of luck with it and welcome.

Fantasy tractor collection .........
Thanks. I've been looking at a few reviews on hydrashift gear boxes . To be honest they're putting me off a bit
