Direct drill

Just starting to look at direct drilling and regenerative agriculture, we have previous experience of the Claydon drill system and it was not good, we are not fans of tine drills, we have looked at the Horsch Avatar and John Deere 750a, anyone got any opinions??
Currently drilling with a vardi rapid, anyone tried direct drilling through cover crops? My feeling is that it will bung very quickly....

Ask this on the direct drilling page. I have drilled with the Sky drill ( others available ) into cover crop 5 ft tall. No issues . A drill doesn’t isn’t the only tool needed to direct drill. It’s just one of the tools ....

You’ll get much better responses if you move this into the dd section.
I can’t vouch for the Avatar but I’ll guarantee that no amount of cover will ever bung up a 750.
