Disc drill from Sumo

I'm a bit worried about the angled depth wheel. The man on the stand at LAMMA said it had to rub up against the disc otherwise mud got in the gap and jammed it up. Sounds good until the tyre wears a bit...?!

Another thing I read is that the disc is angled at 5 degrees. Not saying there's anything wrong with that, but as pretty much everything else uses 7 degrees it would be interesting to see if it makes a difference.

Look,
wasn't is explained correctly that the design was mainly the result of avoiding patent infringements?
So the angle might be one of it, also the way the depth wheel is placed.
Now, why are there after market parts of the wheel for the JD750, which are open and not closed?
Topic was discussed here several times.
The good with the JD750 is that it keeps the dedicated farmer involved in trieyng regularly some new things. Which is good for the economy.
Keeps the farmer occupied. = all are happy.
Noting more dangerous than a farmer which has tooo much time as he might start to think about topics he ought not to think about. ;-)
