I am no Skoda snob, we currently have a Superb which we bought new in 2014 and it has been absolutely faultless. But as mentioned above I am not that taken with the look of the Kodiak and if we are going to spend that sort of money I want to take some enjoyment from it.
Found a 2016 Disco 4 with 39000 miles full Land Rover service history and under their extended warranty until Mid Jan. The engine seized 6000 miles ago! So it has got a new engine put in by Land Rover under warranty. I have checked all this out with our local dealer and it all tally’s with the LR IT system - £23,750 getting tempted!!
Have a cold bath and think again!!

I know, I know....heart has ruled head, but f**k it you only live once. I have done my homework and the risk is very small, our local Land Rover main dealer in North Devon who would have sold a lot of these has only had it happen to 3 and Land Rover have stood behind all of them and our local Land Rover specialist who look after a lot of them haven’t had any.

Exactly, you lot all work so hard I'm very much of the mindset that you should have whatever the fudge you want.

Well bought it and drove it home 200 miles today without the engine going! Very pleased with it and the wife kids were to when I got home.
It’ll be fine............I hope??
Done 400 miles in ours this week going around customers with Xmas gifts, loving it so far.
