Sorry but didn't manage to complete the questionnaire

I farm 60 beef cattle and 1000 ewes. I don't finish any beef, all calves sold store at 12 months. There isn't an option box for that

Then got to the question about percentage of profit from bps. The profit on many upland and hill farms is LESS than the amount of bps received, often significantly less

Should I have carried on reading and attempting to answer?

The disconnect from non farming folk is what it is so i couldnt answer the same question neither & id hope most others would say the same.
But seeing our Gov would rather pay us too look after nature & not produce some of the highest safest food in the world then it is what it is.
Just enjoy your tat from wherever & sorry but if you think farmers were making vast profits from BPS then in a lot of cases you might get a big shock.

Your University carries out the farm business survey annually so may be able to help you also as they gather a cross section of farming businesses accounts details to compile for Government also.
