We are using 2l/hectare on long term grass for docks.0.5L of hurler is a waste of time im afraid. That is the kind of dose I would use in tank mix with other herbicides on maize.

Get them sprayed asap. Coming colder in a few days which won't help..did mine 10 days ago. Dying nicely. Be starting stem extension before you know it..Good morning all . Can I go or do they need longer ? View attachment 793258View attachment 793260View attachment 793262
Personally I'd do them 3 weeks after 1st cut but if you cant waitGoing to be funny year to get the timing right. I would probably wait a little while longer to get a wider size range.

If, like us, you want mature beef cow silage then they have to be done before hand or else they go to seed.
Its haylage to sell .if I dont get rid of them now I may as well dump the grass .be worthlessYou don't want them in your silage full stop, cows won't eat the stalks.
How quick should you see results with dockstar?
What chemical did you go for after? That's more like it View attachment 800930
In my experience earlier is better than too late, of course you can go too early but if the mature ones go to seed your too late!
Agronomist will tend to say wait but are they just hoping for next years dock crop
