Apparent not, my wife’s was well out when I noticed! Apparently can have to do a retest if left too long

Every 10 years if you're on a photo id one.

If you're still on the old paper one, I think you're ok.

apparently I'm also allowed to 'pilot an elephant for the purposes of flushing game'

Shortly after my dl changed from the little red book to the Swansea generated computer printout I was renewing my fac at the local police station and we were laughing about the expiry date on my new dl, 2017, 50 years in the future!
Now I'm back on every 3 years.

If you want to retain the right to drive 7.5 tonne and above you need to get an opticians certificate and a doctor's certificate, all of which takes time. If it's just to drive a car then simple online form and self certification.

I didn't try to retain that, primarily to drive the Scout minibus. There were sufficient others to take my place.

I got a warning it was going to run out, not bothered for the 7.5 anymore, but can still tow a trailer.

Just checked now and I've got whilst May next year before it's out again.

Mrs N thinks I should have @Nearly flag man anyway.

Because of Glaucoma in the family I have an eye test every 12 months anyway, and it's been free because of that but now because my age as well.
