Dumb questions on JD 7530 hydraulics

Should know the answers to this but...

I have a 7530 with 4 manual spools. When I'm eg running the hydraulic fan on the front hopper, and then say lift the rear linkage, the fan stops running, presumably as oil gets diverted to the lift rams. Is this normal?

The question being I'm contemplating changing to a trailed sprayer, and if say it has a hydraulic pump, will I have issues adjusting the boom at the same time as running the pump? Does a hydraulic sprayer pump require power beyond? (whatever that is!)

Many thanks.

Now Then..
Yes, the flow to your fan will slow as the rear arms lift. Try turning the flow control down to the minimum it can work with, perhaps lift the rear arms slower too??
Power beyond will only be needed if your sprayer is set up for PFC hydraulics (usually 3 hoses)..

Use the spool nearest the the centre for fan I'm sure the blue one works best for least disruption to the lift .

Power beyond is very easy to fit up to a 7530

Thanks- fan/ lift isnt an issue, but if I move to a trailed sprayer that has a hydraulic pump I'm just trying to make sure I dont have any hiccups- by the sound of it it should be fine?!
Many thanks!

but if you have 4 spools you will need to make your own by tapping into the hoses , if you have the std JD power beyond you need to remove the 4th spool it bolts on the end there , or only have 3 spools and a PB

No there's pressure return and load sensing plugs under the spool bank all you need is fittings to do it I had both my 6930s done as they had 4 spools

I have seen that in the manuals for early 6000 series Deeres, but not for 30 series. Could you take a pic if that setup and do you know what all the required fittings are?

My 7530 was the same, had manual spools and it was just a case of removing the plugs and fitting the couplings for power beyond.

I know the big ones are 27mm can't remember the wee one for the load sensing. From memory I possibly had a compact 90°on the return and a long swept bend on the pressure to get the room. You'll need to file down dowty washers to fit up into the recess to seal them as o rings are no good especially on the pressure side

This is the return as it's all that's left as we've nothing needing power beyond nowadays

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
