Who’s going to want a 100k mile used van that’s only had 4 oil changes

not me, i sell mine at round 100k and buy new one :ROFLMAO: mines almost 12 months old now and nearly done 7k miles so will be getting oil changed soon.

I know of another van the same as mine and same age etc he has done 130k miles in 12months!!!! he keeps his van 2 to 3 years!

Flush it if your worried about it but it'll still go black.

Reduce the service intervals? I never liked these long drain stuff anyway, my new van is 25k miles I think or 2 years but it'll be getting done once a year at around 8k miles.

Is it a Ford? Off topic of course.. It's funny because Ford warranty stipulates you *have* to have this "interim check" done on years 1 and 3 (proper service every 2 years as you say), and they charge you £129.99 for the pleasure of walking around your van. Guy in the service center got right arsey when I told him No thanks I'll take it down to my local garage and have a proper service done for the same cost.

I believe the Ford Euro 6 is actually 2 years or 30k miles.

No its a MAN TGE, (VW crafter) it may be 30k miles i cant remember, its excessive anyway. you can service it where you like, so long a genuine parts and approved oil used it dont matter.

Is not the number of oil changes per 100,000 miles taken into consideration when working out total emissions?
