I thought it was always a short date due to its make up.Yes, my vets couldn’t get any, I got a prescription from them and bought online but it was very short dated (old stock), which was fine as needed to use straight away. If you find some online get a prescription and buy it now !
Toxovax is certainly only about 10 days or so, but I thought Enzovax was usually longer.I thought it was always a short date due to its make up.
Toxovax is v short dated as made to order. Enzovax normally has a bit longer date, but the stock that’s still available is old stock hence why it’s short dated now.I thought it was always a short date due to its make up.
My vets rang me probably a month ago and said if I wanted any this year too put an order in now as it’s about a month wait list ..Has anyone been told that enzovax won’t be available this year?
That’s what mine did, asked how many I would be likely to buy in the year.My vets rang me probably a month ago and said if I wanted any this year too put an order in now as it’s about a month wait list ..

It’s only slightly cheaper than enzovax as well so will work out expensive over their lifetime. But we are going to use it as no other option if lambing early.Inmeva (please order both doses together)

Any opinions on this for replacing enzovax? My vet says it's the same thing but requires two shots and then a booster yearly much the same as heptavac.
I here this september batch won't be available now.Think they had a big batch failure, next batch won't be ready til late September if its successfully made.
Going to use Inmeva this year, I do buy my replacements in thoughI here this september batch won't be available now.
Undecided if we sould risk it or use this other vaccine at £4.50 for the 2 jags but only lasts a year. Have used enzovax for 10+ years and don't buy females so maybe worth the risk and see what happens.
What's everyone else doing?

I have also just taken the risk previously when not available and will do so again this year again.Personally, I’d just give it a miss and do them next year (or not). If you’ve been doing all your replacements every year, 80% of your flock will still be covered, even if it does arrive this year.
That’s a risk I’d take, and have previously.
