Estimated margins for OSR

Can anyone give me a projection for the total input costs per acre for a crop of OSR established this year and a guess at market price in 2021 - Margin ???

Fudge all here, late CSFB Decimated the plants so not risking larvae in the spring, it’s being replaced 🙄 pith really established well and made it to good sized plants, then major shot holing, it would survive and grow ok, but rather than spend on it, it’s now a cover crop

£119 variables here, add another £100 for all machinery costs (based on NAAC contractor rates for fairness when doing comparisons) including delivery to the tyne 1.45 tonnes/ac yield this time down on the farm average 46% oil crop not sold yet. there will be a little bit of fat left once fixed costs are factored in.

That £100 will include labour in the machinery element but not management nor agronomy.

Adding to my earlier post, there is a massive variation in what people spend on variable costs, fixed costs as well as performance and price achieved. Just replacing P and K off take is £26/acre.

Quite right I should of added 6 quid on for the agronomist, I'd already factored p n k along with other trace elements into variables.
Not sure what I need to for crop management as most of that's done when there's a machine in the field doing some thing else or down to the agronomists advice
