Ez Pilot platform kit

I'm fitting a Ez Pilot to a 1999 Agribuggy, I'm almost positive the steering column is the same that's fitted to a New Holland 40 series. Does anyone know what platform kit fits a 40series? I've got X2 steering bosses with the unit and neither fit unfortunately.

No it predates any T series, made in the 90's. A 7840 or 8340 would have been some of the most popular models
Ahhh... okay. There are some older Ford New Holland ones on there (8670, 8770, etc.).... if you can shoot me some pics of the steering column i could help you identify which one you need. I also need you to take the steering wheel off and put some calipers on the spline. Need OD and number of teeth and I can point you to a platform kit that'll work. We do this all the time for unsupported tractors.

There is a platform kit for the New Holland T5000/TM series that looks like it would fit well. Part number 78100-32-RS. I attached the install instructions. Would you take a look through and if interested remove that plastic shroud around the steering column and see if this would do the trick? The spline adapter kit in this platform kit has 40 teeth and an OD of 17.704 mm. You may need to modify the bracket slightly... but will know more when the shroud comes off.

That's brilliant thanks! My column has been modified to fit the sprayers instrument cluster so I have already started fabricating the anti rotation bracket around this the only bit I actually need is the steering boss, can that be bought separately?

What is the Boss?

The spline adapter cannot be purchased separately.

The SAM 200 steering motor can be and its cost is around $3,000 USD. Usually the motor makes the original steering wheel sit up a little higher so they offer a more flush mounted EZ-Pilot wheel as well.

That's what I mean by boss/spline adapter, I've already got the motor and Trimble steering wheel 👍
