Fahr KM22C drum mower advice

I have bought a tidy KM22C drum mower with conditioner for cheap. Being a bit wet behind the ears I failed to realise how heavy the conditioner is. (Whole thing weighs 600kg+).
Which rather scuppers the idea of using it with our Ford 4000.
What HP/size of tractor would you suggest for this mower?
I read elsewhere on here that a Case 885xl would maybe rub wheels on the canopy. Can anyone confirm thid, as that is the tractor I hope to upgrade to?
Cheers
Richard

Ours used to work well on an IH 674 if the right hand check chain was tightened up to pull it across a bit. I would think that an 885 could be used in a similar way.

We used to run Fahr drum mowers, they used to shave the ground and nothing grew back for a month. In the end, we bought topping disks which left more stubble. No conditioners in those days!

Yup. Scary amount of wobble, thats with loader extended out front which aint great for our small meadows.
Taking conditioner off seems harder than wanted, if i can blag this year another way and have a bigger tractor next year...
Some meadows also gently sloping longways.
