Got my inspection next week. What have the clueless dribbling Idiots changed since last year, read about rats, anything else?
just ensure that you remember anything brought up in conversation last year and have dealt with it, furthermore if you have a new to you inspector this year god help you.and another thought why do we call them inspectors when they were supposedly set up to help farmers and would have been better if they were facilitators to a higher standard and thus price which is the way the scheme was originally sold to us not cause stress and needless work

Need site survey(?) and environmental risk assessment now.
Back in the summer they didn't know exactly what that meant, except that not having it meant a fail!!

I had my audit yesterday too. I hadn't done any of the above but the auditor sent me the necessary forms while we were in the office doing the paperwork, which I printed off, filled in and put with my rat baiting records. Job done very sensibly.

We had our FA inspection about 2 months ago . When asked about rat /vermin control my wife perked up and said we have farm cats and they do it. Surprisingly the inspector said that's fine !

Does your inspector ask for worming/parasite treatment records for your cats? I've had to dig out Vet invoices showing wormer/flea tabs for the last few years.
