Clearly not, judging by the opinions of people who have actually done the job. Seen a few mounted on the rear platform as well. Looks ideal to me but having never used one i cant really comment.......
Get on then ,

I have a bomford 81/65 that's been heavily modified to sit on the back bed of the mb trac 1500, stays on permanently and fold's up nicely so you can see the baler pickup and plough no bother.. The head drops off on a mini digger style hitch and q/r pipes and the pump and original oil tank is on the front links. looks just like bomford designed it just for this application!3185 on bomford b81/81E 8 m reach telescopic here and it's great for it....even fits straight to stabiliser brackets, nothing extra required.been using it five or so seasons, sept till now.

I'll try and figure out how to do it, It can also be used to load round bales onto a trailer and it can crane 1 ton.. but don't tell mark at bomford, as it's giving him the jitters!!Any pictures?
Be interesting to see it.
I find the easiest way to upload pictures is through the TFF app.I'll try and figure out how to do it, It can also be used to load round bales onto a trailer and it can crane 1 ton.. but don't tell mark at bomford, as it's giving him the jitters!!

Heavily invested in jcb,I'd say
,yes ,we used to keep pigs so it's done a lot of work, but we kept it as its just brilliant for little jobs as you will know from the sounds of it...very impressive machine identification at that distance!or lucky guess?Heavily invested in jcb,I'd say
A nice fleet of machines you have there.
The bobcat caught my eye, is that a S220?
