Feeding sore cattle

Currently feeding store cattle, various ages, rolled barley, they have different amounts per pen, we bucket it out of a matbro bucket onto the feed passage. Very time consuming and labour intensive. Does anyone have any ideas how we can make it easer while still being able to feed different amounts easily

Use a BOM bucket here. Has an auger that comes out of the side and feed straight into the troughs. Just drive on in a lower gear to increase feed quantity.

How do you know how much you are giving per head? We want to know how much they are having as the young cattle don’t need as much as the 450kg plus. Also want it that anyone can feed them so “you just know” isn’t going to work

Auger bucket of some kind.put in how ever much each pen requires then feed it out.find a speed that empties it all out at the end of the feed space.after that you just fill up the feed bucket an alter the speed for each pen.

Same as what Optimus said. Then you could write down which gear/revs to do what pen. But yes after a while it does become a case of "you just know".
