First or last new tractor.

What was the first brand new tractor you can remember coming on to the farm, either 50 years ago or last week, mine was an A reg fiat 680h, before my time, but still on the farm was a new 35x 1964. Obviously new tractors are so expensive now a days but back years ago most folk would have got one,

first I can remember was an S reg 590 that came with 2 internationals one with a loader. They didn’t last but the 590 was the first of many 590’s and a 575. Last one left the farm 2012. First actual tractor I bought was an M Reg 514 Fendt and the last a Claas Axion 810

Last new tractor we bought was a Renault 133.14 b reg and unless I win the lottery or buy a toy that will no doubt be the last new tractor to ever see my farm the price of stuff now is ridiculous and unattainable.

Last new tractor was a JD 4455 think about 1989 . Always remember I drove it the first day and got a puncture in the front tyre . That’s probably the last new tractor we’ll have on the farm again!!!

First and last was a brand new JD 7530 in June 2008. Still have it with 3500hrs. When younger my brothers and I asked dad why can’t we have a new tractor next door farm always have one? His reply was it’s the machine on the back doing the work, he was of course right especially when next door were dragging worn out kit about!

First one I remember was a IH 414 delivered in 1961 from Blackshaws of Burton PFA 966. Favourite one was a MF 135 from Mitchells in 1965 FRB65C. My old man wouldn't have the foot throttle which was an extra, he thought it might encourage fast driving!
